NASA DAY OF REMEMBRANCE

Every year, the Astronauts Memorial Foundation―in collaboration with NASA and Delaware North―hosts the NASA Day of Remembrance Ceremony at the Space Mirror Memorial or Center for Space Education at Kennedy Space Center. The Day of Remembrance is observed across the country with ceremonies at each major space center.

Each year on January 27th, the Astronauts Memorial Foundation, family, and invited guests gather Launch Complex 34 to honor and remember the lives of Virgil “Gus” Grissom, Edward H. White II, and Roger B. Chaffee. The crew of Apollo I.
