NASA KSC EXPLORATION STATION

The NASA KSC Exploration Station at Kennedy Space Center, operated by NASA and the Astronauts Memorial Foundation (AMF), offers free activity programs for school groups and other student and youth organizations. Our mission is to provide an inclusive and collaborate environment where curiosity, creativity, and exploration converge into authentic learning experiences.

Activity sessions are about 60-minutes long and may be paired with a morning or afternoon of exploration at the KSC Visitor Complex. Activity sessions are tailored to grade-level and introduce participants to NASA missions and associated STEM content.

For regularly scheduled group sessions, the minimum participant capacity is 15 per group. Maximum participant capacity is 40 per group.

For Homeschool Days (homeschoolers only), sessions hold up to 35 students. These sessions are handled differently from regularly scheduled classes. For more information on Homeschool Days, please scroll down and read the Homeschool Days Policy Document.

The Exploration Station is closed on all federal holidays and may be unavailable for student programs on other days due to other NASA events and operations, including launches.
